Organization Overview:
Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT) is an advanced therapeutic approach practiced by experienced Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, and Speech - Language Pathologists. This hands-on approach is used in working with people who have central nervous system insults that create difficulties in controlling movement. Therapists using NDT treatment have completed advanced training in NDT and work closely with individuals with neurological challenges (e.g. cerebral palsy, stroke, head injury), helping them to become as independent as possible. NDT-trained therapists work collaboratively with individuals, family, caregivers and physicians to develop comprehensive treatment programs based on the principles of human neurology and physiology.

Site Purpose:
NDTA is a national organization and needed a functional, easy to use web site not only for information but also for members to set up and organize regional classes they were offering as instructors, as well as set up and advertise other classes offered for individuals, families, and instructors. The agency that takes care of the daily workings of the group is the administrator of the website and has the ability to add content to specified areas of the website. Webteam did a website redesign for NDTA in 2005.

Member Benefits:
NDTA members can register for conferences and classes through their online store, view and download published news articles, and NDT instructors have the ability to register classes they are offering to other members, individuals, and families.

Administrative Benefits:
The NDTA website has many custom features such as an e-commerce module, member tracking system, custom reports, a system to prompt members to renew memberships, and separate administrative and instructor tools for setting up classes and seminars. There are many updateable pages on this site that allow administrators to easily update content.
